Dalam ASCE 7-05 struktur jenis tersebut dapat dihitung dengan cara yang disederhanakan. Oleh karena itu penulis mencoba melakukan perhitungan untuk beberapa kasus struktur jenis-jenis ini dan dibandingkan dengan cara statik ekivalen menurut SNI \u2013 03 \u2013 1726 \u2013 2002, untuk mengetahui kemungkinan adaptasi penggunaannya. Ternyata hasil perhitungan tersebut menunjukkan cara sederhana ASCE 7 \u2013 05 pada umumnya lebih konservatif dari cara statik ekivalen SNI \u2013 03 \u2013 1726 \u2013 2002.
