Selain\u00a0 dari itu,\u00a0 sistim\u00a0 ini\u00a0 bekerja\u00a0 secara\u00a0 automatis\u00a0dan dengan\u00a0 cepat\u00a0dapat mengadaptasi perubaha\u00a0 lalu lintas\u00a0yang\u00a0 terjadi.\u00a0 Hal ini dimungkinkan karena pemasukkan\u00a0 dan\u00a0 pengolahan data\u00a0 yang\u00a0 sangat intensif\u00a0 dan\u00a0 cepat.\u00a0 Data-data tersebut\u00a0 dipantau\u00a0 melalui\u00a0 sekitar\u00a0 18.000,&#8211;\u00a0 sensor\u00a0 maknit yang ditanam\u00a0 dalam\u00a0 jalan\u00a0 dan\u00a0 dapat memberikan data jumlah\u00a0 dan\u00a0 kecepatan\u00a0 masing-masing\u00a0 kendaraan\u00a0 yang\u00a0 lewat\u00a0 setiap\u00a0 detik dan dikirim\u00a0 ke\u00a0 Pusat\u00a0 Control Lalu\u00a0 lintas di\u00a0 City\u00a0 Hall\u00a0 Annex.\u00a0 Dengan program canggih yang\u00a0 dengan\u00a0 cepat mengolah\u00a0 data-data\u00a0 tersebut,\u00a0 sistim\u00a0 ini\u00a0 dapat\u00a0 segera\u00a0 mengatur\u00a0 4114 lampu\u00a0 lalu\u00a0 lintas yang\u00a0 tersebar\u00a0 diseluruh jalan\u00a0 dikota\u00a0\u00a0(kecuali\u00a0 freeways tentunya).\u00a0 Dapat\u00a0 dicatat\u00a0 bahwa\u00a0 jalan\u00a0 dalam\u00a0 kota\u00a0 kira\u00a0 36\u00a0 kali\u00a0 panjang\u00a0 freeway-nya.<\/div>\n<p>Sistim\u00a0 pengaturan\u00a0 lalu\u00a0 lintas\u00a0 ini\u00a0 baru\u00a0 akan\u00a0 selesai\u00a0 seluruhnya\u00a0 permulaan\u00a0 tahun\u00a0 2013\u00a0 yang\u00a0 akan datang. Software\u00a0 yang\u00a0 sangat\u00a0 canggih\u00a0 ini,\u00a0selain\u00a0 mengatur\u00a0 kendaraan\u00a0 mobil,\u00a0 juga\u00a0 mengatur\u00a0 jalan sepeda\u00a0 dan jalur\u00a0 bus\u00a0khusus \u00a0yang\u00a0 perlu\u00a0 diberi\u00a0prioritas\u00a0 seperti\u00a0 jalur\u00a0 Busway\u00a0 kita.\u00a0 Software\u00a0 dikembangkan oleh\u00a0 kota\u00a0 Los\u00a0 Angeles\u00a0sendiri \u00a0dibawah\u00a0 pimpinan\u00a0 Edward\u00a0 Yu\u00a0 dengan\u00a0 timnya\u00a0 yang\u00a0 terdiri\u00a0 dengan sekitar\u00a0 35\u00a0 insinyur\u00a0 dan\u00a0 untuk\u00a0 operasinya\u00a0 hanya\u00a0 diperlukan 20\u00a0 orang\u00a0 operator.
